The XNiteUVR filter passes a wide band of UV light from 250nm to 500nm. The UVR filter also passes some visible light from 400 to 500nm and then opens up substantially in the infrared from 680nm to 1100nm. The XNiteUVR filter will work well for indoor use with a UV LED light source or UV light source that does not contain infrared light (most hot UV lights also generate infrared). For outdoor UV pictures, we recommend using out XNite330C + XNiteBP1 filter.
